Meet your instructor

Welcome to my page!

I'm Jackie, a Highland lass located in Edinburgh, mum of two girls.


My own practice began in 2017, I had discovered that the high-intensity exercise I was doing made me faint, it turns out I had chronic low blood pressure. Trying out Yoga one day seemed to be the perfect fit. I fell in love with the movement and energy, especially the playful Vinyasa sequences. 


Over time I had come to accept my aches and pains, but within weeks of beginning my own yoga practice, I noticed my shoulders and chest were releasing, my hips were no longer screaming at me, I was finally realigning from years of bad posture. An added bonus that I could touch my toes again, I had found a movement and flow in my body that I hadn't felt since I was a kid!


The biggest change was my headspace became a lot more positive, I released a lot of trapped emotional baggage (stored in your hips btw). I even broke down quietly at the back of the class one time, letting go of the negative energy I was holding. Yoga can make you float after a great session! 


The more I went to class, the more I wanted to delve deeper into the understanding of 'what is Yoga'.
